Nora da Neve receives a gold medal at the Mundus Vini International Awards

The competition, which was held in the German town Neustadt, is judged by a panel of 160 experts from 36 countries

Avanteselecta, a wine company that makes wine in 8 Spanish Denominations of Origin, has recently obtained 4 gold and 4 silver medals at the Mundus Vini International Awards, which take place in the town of Neudstadt and which is one of the most prestigious awards in the industry. One of the highest recognitions, the gold medal, has been obtained for Nora da Neve 2013, which is an Albariño wine that is fermented in the barrel and made at Bodegas Viña Nora (Rias Baixas) in As Neves, Pontevedra.

Nora da Neve 2013 is an extraordinary expression of the Albariño variety. Fermented and aged for 6 months in French oak barrels, it expresses this Galician variety’s entire subtleness while adding a complexity and strength that make it one of the jewels in the Rias Baixas Denomination of Origin.  It especially stands out when paired with roasted white fish or meats with smooth sauces.
